Train To Run

Have you ever thought about giving running a try? Not sure where to start? Not ready to join a big running group or club? Want your very own finishers medal, group camaraderie, and fun photos?  Let us help you out with a easy 6 week (12 classes) program that incorporates one class of outdoor strength training bootcamp and one class of running drills.

This is meant to be a fun group experience, **You Do Not Have to Run**, walking is encouraged. The idea is to get you moving and accomplishing the distance of a 8K (4.97 miles). Last year our group finished three 5K events, so this year we are increasing our distance. Does 8K sound daunting? Not sure you can do it? We believe you can do anything. Join in the classes and do a different/smaller race with us. The timing of this program is intended to finish before the National Women's Half Marathon & 8K May 3, 2020. Registration of the race is up to each participant, it's not included in the program. Register early.

Classes will be held Sundays 10AM for Bootcamp and Tuesdays 6:30PM for running/walking drills
If you are a current class participant and already have a class pass, these classes will be accepted, you do not have to buy the Train to Run program.
This program is intended for those who want to start or get back into running.

Where: Wharf Waterfront Park
When Sundays 10AM and Tuesdays 6:30PM
Cost: $180 for 12 classes
There will be no class on Easter Sunday, April 12

DC Scavenger Hunt

Who’s ready for a little friendly competition? Get a clue, figure out the location, complete an exercise, text a pic of you doing the exercise at the location, get the next clue. There will be 10 clues all in a general area of DC leading to a final destination.  The team that reaches this location first will win a prize. Are you ready to accept your mission?

When: Saturday September 19, 2020
Time: 10 AM
Where: We will all meet at the Waterfront Park in SWDC (in front of the cruise boats) We’ll go over all the rules
Rain date will be Sunday September 20, 2020 in lieu of the Sunday class

Doggie and Me Bootcamp and Brunch

April 7 & June 16

Join us for Doggie and Me Bootcamp and Brunch
 Bring your pup to a special outdoor bootcamp class. We'll run drills, do dog friendly exercises, laugh and have fun.

**Don't have a dog? Neither do I! Come anyway!**

After class we will head over to one of the dog friendly restaurants, TBD for brunch.

Bring: Water, mat for you and water and treats for your dog

2020 has been a challenging year. Kind of a downer. Who's ready to ditch it for a short blast from the past, 80's style? Let's dig through our closets and see what fun fitness fashion we can find to get our sweat on while we workout to some of our favorite 80's music. Did you like get rid of all your stuff or not feeling the fashion of the times? No problem, join us wearing whatever makes you happy!
